“Well, merc-heads, that’s a wrap on Pentares. The Final Hope is headed back to Earth orbit, which means some of you lucky streamer fans might just spot your idol out and about town in a few days, at least if you live near a space hub. It also means that we’ll soon meet the latest crop of recruits, which is always a fun time. (Friendly reminder: our forum policy prohibits organizing noob death pools for betting purposes. Yeah, a lot of ‘em are gonna die. But let’s not gamble on it, m’kay? That’s just tacky.)

“Personally, I felt the last batch of recruits was a bit lame – sure, there were a couple promising young ‘uns who might amount to something, but nobody really grabbed me (all you Valkyrie fans can hate on me in the comments if you want, I don’t care). You know what we need? We need a BAD BOY. Or bad girl, whatever. Somebody you love to hate, but can’t stop watching, and can’t stop talking about. Fingers crossed!”
